Upholstery services
I work in the Helsinki region where I do upholstery for both private homes as well as public places. All jobs are unique and done with many years of expirience and knowledge in the trade. I use materials and techniques suitable for each piece of furniture according to its age and history.
Our services include
- Upholstery of old traditional pieces from start to finnish. I can also organize painting or varnishing for your furniture. I also repair papercord- and rattanseats.
- Reupholstery of modern industrial furniture. Including new foam and/or cushions.
- Interiordesign-upholstery, such as headboards (ie custommade tufted headboards) drapes, loose covers or projects.
- Upholstery of boatcushions and matrasses as well as seats.
- All upholstery for public places (restaurants, cafés, libraries and ie schools).
- Custommade curtains and curtainrods.
- At Soffan You can also order fabrics or materials for your own projects.
How
Please send me an email in which You describe your project. Based on pictures I can give You a price-estimate on the costs of material and work needed. Before the start of each project I make written contracts on what has been decided and agreed upon. I also do evaluations at the clients home/where the furniture is at. For these evaluations I charge 60E (including 24% vat) which will be reimbursed in the final payment when the job is ordered
